SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Marie E. Kelly of Palatine, who passed 
4away on June 10, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marie Kelly (nee Flynn) was born on May 5, 1923; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Marie Kelly was a 20-year Palatine Township 
8employee and was a legal assistant to Judge Francis E. Kelly; 
9and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Marie Kelly was a Palatine TOPS organization 
11member for 44 years and active in local politics since the mid 
121950s; she was a 20+ year volunteer with the Rolling Members 
13Golden Years Council; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Marie Kelly was the beloved wife of the late Judge 
15Francis Kelly; loving mother of Terry (Kim), John, and Bob 
16(Maureen) Kelly; cherished grandmother of Bobby, Dan, Mike, and 
17Katie Kelly; and dear godmother of Linda Heinrich; therefore, 
18be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Marie Kelly, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
2friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
