| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Georgia Helen Adamski of Springfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 12, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski was born on June 4, 1930, in |
| 6 | | Detroit, Michigan, to Mary and George Hodge; she graduated from |
| 7 | | Lanphier High School; she married William Adamski Jr. on July |
| 8 | | 14, 1950; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski served as the cook at Christian |
| 10 | | Nursery School and volunteered for many years at Hope |
| 11 | | Evangelical Free Church and Lake Helen Bible Camp in Wausaukee, |
| 12 | | Wisconsin; she and her husband were owners and operators of the |
| 13 | | Morning Star Cafe in Salisbury and she worked there from 1998 |
| 14 | | to 2012; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski was a homemaker and she enjoyed |
| 16 | | gardening, travel, animals, and cooking and enjoyed family |
| 17 | | meals and holiday dinners; she was a member of Bethany |
| 18 | | Evangelical Lutheran Church until 1978 and then of Hope |
| 19 | | Evangelical Free Church until 2013; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Adamski is survived by her husband, |
| 21 | | William; her daughters, Linda J. Painter and Patricia L. |
