SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Evelyn Bernice Tedrick of Bentonville, 
4Arkansas, formerly of Godfrey, who passed away on May 2, 2013; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Evelyn Tedrick was the daughter of William and 
7Faye Southard of Wanda; she was a lifelong resident of the 
8Alton area prior to her relocation to Bentonville, Arkansas in 
92007; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Evelyn Tedrick was a homemaker and worked as a 
11bookkeeper/secretary for Albrecht Chevrolet and Tedrick 
12Pontiac of Wood River; she later finished her career working at 
13Marcal Asphalt and Paving in Alton for 18 years; after her 
14retirement, she loved to volunteer at Alton Memorial Hospital 
15and Beverly Farms Gift Shop; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Evelyn Tedrick was a lifelong member of St. John 
17United Church of Christ in Wood River; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Evelyn Tedrick was preceded in death by her loving 
19husband of 42 years, Leroy "Roy" Tedrick; her parents; and her 
20sister, Shirley Budde; and

1    WHEREAS, Evelyn Tedrick is survived by her sons and their 
2families, Gary and LeeAnn Tedrick and Clark and Casey Tedrick; 
3her grandchildren, James and Jennifer Schulz, Christopher and 
4Kelly Tedrick, Scott Tedrick, and Laura Tedrick; and her 
5great-grandchildren, Truman and Ellie Schulz and Olivia and 
6Nora Tedrick; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
9her family and friends, the passing of Evelyn Bernice Tedrick; 
10and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Evelyn Tedrick as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
