| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Camillus Joachim Wurtz of Pocahontas, |
| 4 | | Arkansas, who passed away on April 14, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was born on August 16, 1921, in |
| 6 | | Pocahontas, Arkansas; his parents were Peter A. and Mary T. |
| 7 | | Wurtz; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz served in the United States Army |
| 9 | | Air Forces during World War II; he earned 4 Bronze Stars for |
| 10 | | his meritorious service; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz retired from his business, |
| 12 | | Builders Plumbing and Heating, in 1982, after many years of |
| 13 | | dedicated service to his community; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was preceded in death by his loving |
| 15 | | wife of 63 years, Esther; his parents; his brothers, Zeno and |
| 16 | | Sylvan; and his sisters, Juanita, Rosemary, and Beatrice; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz is survived by his sons Sid (Rita) |
| 18 | | Wurtz and Ron (Judy) Wurtz; his daughters, Camille (Joe) Myers |
| 19 | | and Juanita (Joe) Cofer; his 7 grandchildren; his 6 |
| 20 | | great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joanne DeGregorio; |
