SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Camillus Joachim Wurtz of Pocahontas, 
4Arkansas, who passed away on April 14, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was born on August 16, 1921, in 
6Pocahontas, Arkansas; his parents were Peter A. and Mary T. 
7Wurtz; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz served in the United States Army 
9Air Forces during World War II; he earned 4 Bronze Stars for 
10his meritorious service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz retired from his business, 
12Builders Plumbing and Heating, in 1982, after many years of 
13dedicated service to his community; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was preceded in death by his loving 
15wife of 63 years, Esther; his parents; his brothers, Zeno and 
16Sylvan; and his sisters, Juanita, Rosemary, and Beatrice; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz is survived by his sons Sid (Rita) 
18Wurtz and Ron (Judy) Wurtz; his daughters, Camille (Joe) Myers 
19and Juanita (Joe) Cofer; his 7 grandchildren; his 6 
20great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joanne DeGregorio;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4his family and friends, the passing of Camillus Joachim Wurtz; 
5and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Camillus Wurtz as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
