| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas S. Melzl of Edison Park; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Melzl retired from the Chicago Fire |
| 5 | | Department after 32 years of service on Truck 10; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Melzl was the beloved husband of the late |
| 7 | | Joanne P. Melzl; the loving father of Thomas J. (Kerri) Melzl; |
| 8 | | the proud grandfather of Thomas B. and Peter J. Melzl; and the |
| 9 | | dear brother of Mary Anne Leff; therefore, be it
|
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 12 | | his family and friends, the passing of Thomas S. Melzl; and be |
| 13 | | it further
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 15 | | presented to the family of Thomas Melzl as an expression of our |
| 16 | | sympathy.
