SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Timothy Cornell Collins, who passed away 
4on December 31, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Timothy Collins  was born on August 24, 1967, to 
6Dianne Collins and Albert Holmes; he attended Whitney Young and 
7Kenwood High Schools in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Timothy Collins graduated from The Evelyn Echols 
9Hotel and Motel Management Program; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Timothy Collins was a staunch Illini and Chicago 
11Bulls basketball fan; he was an earnest member of Narcotics 
12Anonymous and was proud of his sobriety; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Timothy Collins was preceded in death by his 
14grandparents, Robert, Lula, Lillian, Betty, Minnie, and 
15Thomas; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Timothy Collins is survived by his parents, Dianne 
17and Robert Gilder; Albert Holmes; his brothers, Courtney 
18(Yolonda) and Colby "Buddah"; his sister, Tiffany "Nikki"; his 
192 uncles; his great uncle, Dave; his 10 aunts; his 7 nieces; 
20his nephew; his 2 great-nephews; and a host of cousins,

1friends, and loved ones; and Lisa, the mother of his son, 
2Darryl; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Timothy Collins, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Timothy Collins as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
