SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gary Grogan of Waukegan, who passed away 
4on December 4, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Grogan was born on September 9, 1948, in 
6Waukegan to Cynthia and Granville Grogan; he married Denise 
7Hull on September 30, 1972, in Lake Bluff; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Gary Grogan was a carpenter by trade; he loved to 
9golf, hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren and 
10pets; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Gary Grogan was preceded in death by his sons, 
12Billy and Wayne; his father, Granville Sr.; his brother, 
13Granville Jr.; and his stepfather, Harold "Whitey" Maier; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Gary Grogan is survived by his wife, Denise; his 
15sons, Gary (Jini) and Tim (Shirley) Grogan; his mother, Cynthia 
16Maier; his grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Torin, Nolan, Nathan, 
17Trinity, Jacob, and Megan Grogan, Calvin, Kevin, and Steven 
18Perez; his brothers, Leo (April), Larry (Theresa), and Greg 
19Grogan; and his sister, Dawn (R.J.) Larsen; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Gary Grogan, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Gary Grogan as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
