| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3144 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 3, line 19, by replacing "A licensed truck stop |
| 4 | | establishment may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on |
| 5 | | its premises at any time." with "A licensed truck stop |
| 6 | | establishment that is located within 3 road miles from a |
| 7 | | freeway interchange, as defined by the Illinois Department of |
| 8 | | Transportation in its rules regarding the criteria for the |
| 9 | | installation of business signs, and that sells at retail more |
| 10 | | than 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel per month may |
| 11 | | operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on its premises at any |
| 12 | | time. A licensed truck stop establishment may meet the fuel |
| 13 | | sales requirement by showing that estimated future sales or |
| 14 | | past sales average at least 50,000 gallons per month. All other |
| 15 | | licensed truck stop establishments may operate no more than 5 |
| 16 | | video gaming terminals at any time.".
