| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 226 by replacing |
| 3 | | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | | "Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 20-20 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 801/20-20 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 20-20. Products manufactured in the United States. The |
| 8 | | Illinois State Museum shall set aside a booth or section in a |
| 9 | | prominent location of the gift shop for the sale of products |
| 10 | | manufactured in the United States. A sign shall be posted to |
| 11 | | apprise the public of the booth or section. As used in this |
| 12 | | Section, "products manufactured in the United States" means |
| 13 | | assembled articles, materials, or supplies for which design, |
| 14 | | final assembly, processing, packaging, testing, or other |
| 15 | | process that adds value, quality, or reliability occurred in |
| 16 | | the United States. Within the booth or section, there shall |

| 1 | | also be a section devoted to products manufactured in Illinois. |
| 2 | | As used in this Section, "products manufactured in Illinois" |

| 5 | | other process that adds value, quality, or reliability occurred |
| 6 | | in Illinois.

| 7 | | Section 10. The State Parks Act is amended by adding |
| 8 | | Section 4b as follows:

| 9 | | (20 ILCS 835/4b new) |
| 10 | | Sec. 4b. Products manufactured in the United States. Gift |
| 11 | | shops and concession areas within State parks and parkways |
| 12 | | shall set aside a booth or section in a prominent location for |
| 13 | | the sale of products manufactured in the United States. A sign |
| 14 | | shall be posted to apprise the public of the booth or section. |
| 15 | | As used in this Section, "products manufactured in the United |
| 16 | | States" means assembled articles, materials, or supplies for |
| 17 | | which design, final assembly, processing, packaging, testing, |
| 18 | | or other process that adds value, quality, or reliability |
| 19 | | occurred in the United States.

| 20 | | Section 15. The Historic Preservation Agency Act is amended |
| 21 | | by adding Section 35 as follows:

| 1 | | Sec. 35. Products manufactured in the United States. State |
| 2 | | Historic Sites, State Memorials, and other properties that are |
| 3 | | under the jurisdiction of the Historic Preservation Agency |
| 4 | | under Section 6 of this Act shall set aside a booth or section |
| 5 | | in a prominent location of the gift shop for the sale of |
| 6 | | products manufactured in the United States. A sign shall be |
| 7 | | posted to apprise the public of the booth or section. As used |
| 8 | | in this Section, "products manufactured in the United States" |
| 9 | | means assembled articles, materials, or supplies for which |
| 10 | | design, final assembly, processing, packaging, testing, or |
| 11 | | other process that adds value, quality, or reliability occurred |
| 12 | | in the United States. Within the booth or section, there shall |
