HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Lynn Daly on the occasion 
4of her retirement as Assistant Principal at Queen of All Saints 
5School in Chicago; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly has been with Queen of All Saints School 
7for 14 years, and has spent 31 years with the Archdiocese; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly was instrumental in helping Queen of All 
9Saints achieve "Blue Ribbon" status by the United States 
10Department of Education in 2010; she brought Faith Partners, 
11the student council, and the Snake Road field trip to the 
12school, and was instrumental in the 8th grade Ambassador Club; 
13she acquired and instituted many of the schools technological 
14advances by searching and filing for grants, which supplied the 
15school with whiteboards, laptops, iPads, and many other tools; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly is a former Parent-Teacher Association 
18member at Transfiguration Parish in Chicago, where she 
19instituted Donkey Baseball; and
  
 
  
20    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly attended Archbishop Neale Grammar and 
21High School in Maryland, and graduated from the University of

1Maryland and Northeastern Illinois University; therefore, be 
2it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate Lynn Daly on her retirement as Assistant 
6Principal at Queen of All Saints School, and wish her the best 
7in all her future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Lynn Daly as an expression of our esteem and 
10respect.
