| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Doris |
| 4 | | Irene (nee Clark) Bass of Chicago; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Doris Bass was born in Chicago on September 30, |
| 6 | | 1939 to Clifford R. Sanders and Priscilla Clark; she attended |
| 7 | | George Howland Elementary School and David G. Farragut High |
| 8 | | School; she was united in holy matrimony with William Terry |
| 9 | | Bass; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Doris Bass worked at Western Electric, and she |
| 11 | | later became a correctional officer for Stateville |
| 12 | | Correctional Facility; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Doris Bass was a member of Brotherly Love |
| 14 | | Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Doris Bass was preceded in death by her parents; |
| 16 | | her husband; one son, Marcus Terry; one grandchild, David Dante |
| 17 | | Mayfield; 2 brothers, Eddie and Clifford; and 3 sisters, |
| 18 | | Teacake, Martha, and Mae Frances; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Doris Bass is survived by 3 children, Juan C. |
| 20 | | (Cecelia) Bass, Hyda I. (Alfonzo) Bass-Singletary, and Demetra |
