HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Joshua Alber of 
4Dakota High School on winning his 4th-consecutive Illinois High 
5School Association State championship in wrestling and going 
6undefeated and untied in his 4 years of competition; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Joshua Alber defeated Coal City's Casey Brown 16-5 
8on February 22, 2014 in the Class 1A 132-pound division finals  
9to capture his most recent State championship;  and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Joshua Alber has compiled a career record of 182 
11wins, 0 losses, and 0 ties; he  is the only wrestler in Illinois 
12history to accomplish this feat; and
  
 

  
13    WHEREAS, Joshua Alber will wrestle for Division 1 Northern 
14Iowa this fall; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
16NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
17we  congratulate Joshua Alber on winning his 4th-consecutive 
18Illinois High School Association State championship and going 
19undefeated and untied in his 4 years of wrestling; and be it
