HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  
4Cuauhtemoc "Temo" Estrada; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada served his country with pride 
6as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada joined the Cook County 
8Sheriff's Office in 1994 as a correctional officer in the Cook 
9County Jail; during his distinguished 20-year tenure, he served 
10in various departments, including the Cook County Sheriff's 
11Vocational Rehabilitation Impact Center and the Electronic 
12Monitoring Unit; he also served as an investigator in the 
13Electronic Monitoring Unit for 13 years; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada was well regarded by his peers 
15for the tough but fair and humane manner in which he conducted 
16his work and his great loyalty and dedication to his family; 
17and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, Cuauhtemoc Estrada is survived by his son; his 3 
19daughters; and his 3 granddaughters; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
3Cuauhtemoc "Temo" Estrada; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Cuauhtemoc Estrada as an expression 
6of our sympathy.
