HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Reverend 
4Monsignor Francis N. Maniola, who passed away on December 6, 
52013; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Francis Maniola was the much beloved Pastor 
7Emeritus of St. Symphorosa Parish; he celebrated his 75th 
8anniversary of ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese 
9of Chicago in 2013; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Francis Maniola served as a teacher at Quigley 
11Preparatory Seminary North for 27 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Francis Maniola was preceded in death by his 
13parents, Rocco and Rose Bove Maniola; his brothers, Joseph (the 
14late Doris), Robert, James, and Eugene Maniola; and his 
15brother-in-law, Bernard Boyle; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Francis Maniola is survived by his sister, 
17Rosemary Boyle, and his 72 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
