HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Justin 
4D'Wayne Williams, formerly of Peoria, who passed away on 
5October 24, 2013; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Justin Williams was born on August 10, 1981 in 
7Kansas City, Missouri to Clifford Williams and LaFelda Jones; 
8he graduated in 1999 from Richwoods High School in Peoria; he 
9served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was 
10stationed at Camp Pendleton and Camp LeJune in San Diego, 
11California; he married Gretchen Widger in 2007 and they settled 
12in Kansas City in 2008; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Justin Williams worked as a commercial salesman 
14for Batteries Plus in Kansas City, Kansas; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Justin Williams was an avid Kansas City Chiefs 
16fan; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Justin Williams passed away along side of his 
18step-daughter, Jazmyne Harris; he was preceded in death by his 
19grandfather, Jerry Williams; and
  
 
  
20    WHEREAS, Justin Williams is survived by his wife, Gretchen;

1his son, Justin, Jr.; his daughter, Andrea; his mother, Lafelda 
2Jones; his father Clifford Williams; his grandmother, Pearl 
3Ross; his in-laws, Rick and Emma Descamps; his childhood 
4friend, Joshua Williams; and a host of other relatives and 
5friends; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we mourn the passing of Justin D'Wayne Williams, and extend our 
9sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
10and loved him; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Justin Williams as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
