HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Corrine 
4Robinson, who passed away on September 20, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was born in Henderson, Texas; she 
6accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl; in 
7December of 1962, she moved to Chicago, where she lived the 
8remainder of her life; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson enjoyed making people happy, 
10praying, reading the Bible, cooking, quilting, playing with her 
11stuffed animals, and spending time with her family; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was preceded in death by her 
13sons, Cecil Choice and O.C. Choice; her daughter, Mary 
14Catherine Bell; her brother; her sister, Roberta Johnson; her 
15grandsons, O.C., Jr. and Brian Keith; and many other family 
16members; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson is survived by her daughter, 
18Elgrine Phillips; her 22 grandchildren; her 17 
19great-grandchildren; her great-nephew, John; her 3 great-great 
20nieces; and many other relatives; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of 
4Corrine Robinson; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Corrine Robinson as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
