HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Dean Foods Company 
4plant manager Tom Condon on the occasion of his retirement; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tom Condon has worked at the Dean Foods Company 
6for 39 years, serving as the plant manager of the Chemung 
7facility for 20 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Under Tom Condon's leadership, the Dean Foods 
9Company's Chemung facility has donated  nourishing food to local 
10food pantries, schools, churches, and other not-for-profit 
11organizations; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Tom Condon currently serves as the President of 
13the Harvard Fire Protection District; he has served as a 
14volunteer firefighter; he has served 17 years on the Harvard 
15Little League Board; and he helped create the Dean Foods 
16Company-sponsored Harvard Wrestling Club Annual Tournament; 
17and
  
 
  
18    WHEREAS, Tom Condon's retirement concludes nearly 40 years 
19of service to the Dean Foods Company, but is undoubtedly 
20another step in his role as a leader in Harvard and McHenry 
21County; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Tom Condon on his retirement, and wish him well 
4in all of his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Tom Condon as an expression of our esteem and 
7respect.
