HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to honor the Lemont Junior Woman's 
4Club, a service and philanthropic organization that strives to 
5improve the community and the lives of those in it through 
6programs and financial contributions; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The organization's committed members donate 
8thousands of hours of service and contribute tens of thousands 
9of dollars each year for local charities and programs, as well 
10as scholarships for students; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Their dedication and service has made possible the 
12development of Safety Village, the Lemont Junior Woman's Club 
13playground at Centennial Park, and enhancements at Lemont's 
14food pantries; and
  
 

  
15    WHEREAS, The Lemont Junior Woman's Club celebrates its 
16twentieth year of community service that has played a positive 
17role in so many lives and produced a strong sense of community; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we honor the members of the Lemont Junior Woman's Club for

1their dedicated service and we wish great success in their 
2future as an excellent organization; and be it further; and be

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to Jill McAndrews, of Lemont Junior Woman's Club, as 
6a symbol of our esteem and respect.
