HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  the owners and employees 
4of the ILMO Products Company on the occasion of the company's 
5100th anniversary in 2013; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company is a single-source 
7supplier of industrial and specialty gases and welding and 
8cutting equipment; the company has locations in Jacksonville, 
9Granite City, Decatur, Litchfield, Mattoon, Mount Vernon, 
10Granite City, Peoria, Quincy, Springfield, and St. Louis, 
11Missouri; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company was created in 
13Jacksonville in 1913, when D.O. Floreth and his father, H.J. 
14Floreth, opened Illinois Tire and Battery Vulcanizing; the 
15company is still owned and operated by fourth-generation 
16members of the Floreth family and serves over 3,500 customers 
17in Illinois and Missouri; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, The ILMO Products Company is well known throughout 
19the Midwest for its commitment to quality products and superb 
20customer service; and

  
 
21    WHEREAS,  The owners and employees of the ILMO Products

1Company serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication 
2for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate the owners and employees of the ILMO Products 
6Company on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary and 
7wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be 
8it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the ILMO Products Company as a symbol of our 
11esteem and respect.
