| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Robert J. |
| 4 | | Dowey (Dynkowski) of Chicago; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Dowey was born on September 24, 1948 in |
| 6 | | Chicago and was a lifelong Chicago resident; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Robert Dowey served his country with pride as a |
| 8 | | member of the United States Air Force in Alaska during the late |
| 9 | | 1960s; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Robert Dowey had a passion for photography which |
| 11 | | started as a hobby and led to a career, starting with his work |
| 12 | | for the First National Bank of Chicago; from there, his work |
| 13 | | was sought after by many eminent organizations and events in |
| 14 | | Chicago; he was the official photographer of the Chicago |
| 15 | | International Film Festival, the Hilton Hotel, and the Emmy |
| 16 | | Awards, and his work was featured in CS Magazine, Michigan |
| 17 | | Avenue, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun-Times; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Robert Dowey is survived by his partner, Armando |
| 19 | | Munoz; his father, Chester Dynkowski; his brothers, James |
| 20 | | Dynkowski, and his partner, David, and John Dynkowski and his |
| 21 | | wife, Nancy; his niece, Beth; and his nephew, Michael; |
