| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Poison Prevention Packaging Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 2 and by adding Sections 2.10 and |
| 6 | | 10 as follows:
|

| 8 | | Sec. 2. The words and phrases used in this Act have the |
| 9 | | meanings set out in
Sections 2.01 to 2.10 2.05, unless the |

| 13 | | Sec. 2.10. Electronic cigarettes. "Electronic cigarette" |
| 14 | | or "e-cigarette" means a battery-operated device that contains |
| 15 | | a combination of nicotine, flavor, and chemicals that are |
| 16 | | turned into vapor which is inhaled by the user.

| 19 | | Electronic cigarette liquids sold and marketed for the |
| 20 | | refilling of e-cigarettes may be sold only in special |
| 21 | | packaging. The Department of Public Health shall adopt rules |
