| 1 | | Representatives; one of whom shall be appointed by the |
| 2 | | President of the Senate; one of whom shall be appointed by the |
| 3 | | Minority Leader of the House of Representatives; and one of |
| 4 | | whom shall be appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate. |
| 5 | | The task force shall prepare a report that does the following: |
| 6 | | determines the appropriate scope of a program for regulating |
| 7 | | commercial tax return preparers; addresses the appropriate |
| 8 | | qualifications, including, but not limited to, minimum |
| 9 | | educational qualifications and continuing educational |
| 10 | | requirements for commercial tax return preparers; and |
| 11 | | considers any other matters the task force determines to be |
| 12 | | necessary or appropriate. The task force shall meet no less |
| 13 | | than 3 times before the end of the year in which this |
| 14 | | amendatory Act of the 98th General Assembly becomes effective. |
| 15 | | The report required under this Section shall be submitted by no |
| 16 | | later than December 1, 2015 to the Secretary of Financial and |
| 17 | | Professional Regulation, the Governor, and the General |
| 18 | | Assembly. Members of the task force shall receive no |
| 19 | | compensation, but shall be reimbursed for expenses necessarily |
| 20 | | incurred in the performance of their duties. |
| 21 | | This Section is repealed July 1, 2016.

| 22 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 23 | | becoming law.".
