Amends the Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Licensing Act. Provides that "home health services" includes services prescribed by a physician assistant licensed under the Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing |
| 5 | | Agency Licensing Act is amended by changing Section 2.05 as |
| 6 | | follows:
|
| 7 | | (210 ILCS 55/2.05) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 2802.05)

| 8 | | Sec. 2.05.
"Home health services" means services provided
|
| 9 | | to a person at his residence according to a plan of treatment
|
| 10 | | for illness or infirmity
prescribed by a physician or by a |
| 11 | | physician assistant licensed under the Physician Assistant |
| 12 | | Practice Act of 1987. Such services include part time and
|
| 13 | | intermittent nursing services and other therapeutic services
|
| 14 | | such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech |
| 15 | | therapy,
medical social services, or services provided by a |
| 16 | | home health aide.
