| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The DCFS Residential Services Construction |
| 5 | | Grant
Program Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 5. Definitions. As used in this Act: |
| 8 | | "Board" means the Illinois Capital Development Board. |
| 9 | | "Department" means the Illinois Department of Children and |
| 10 | | Family Services. |
| 11 | | "Residential services" means child care institution care, |
| 12 | | group home care, independent living services, and transitional |
| 13 | | living services that are licensed and purchased by the |
| 14 | | Department on behalf of children under the age of 22 years who |
| 15 | | are served by the Department and who need 24 hour residential |
| 16 | | care due to emotional and behavior problems and that are |
| 17 | | services for which the Department has rate setting authority.
