| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Child Vision and Hearing Test Act is amended |
| 5 | | by changing Section 2 as follows:

As used in this Act, unless the context otherwise |
| 8 | | requires, the
the following words and phrases mean:

| 9 | | "Department" is the Department of Public Health;
|
| 10 | | "Director" is the Director of the Department of Public |
| 11 | | Health;
|
| 12 | | "Vision and Hearing Screening Services" are the |
| 13 | | identification, testing,
evaluation and initiation of |
| 14 | | follow-up services as defined in the rules
and regulations of |
| 15 | | the Department and the State Board of Education,
as required by |
| 16 | | Section 4.
