| 4 | | 1, on page 16, by inserting immediately below line 23 the |
| 5 | | following: |
| 6 | | "(c-1) It is not a violation of item (C) of paragraph (3) |
| 7 | | of subsection (a) of this Section if the person who carries or |
| 8 | | possesses the firearm does not at the time of the commission of |
| 9 | | the act of carrying or possessing the firearm have a currently |
| 10 | | valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card because his or her |
| 11 | | Card has expired not more than 90 days after the commission of |
| 12 | | the act that would otherwise be a violation of item (C) of |
| 13 | | paragraph (3) of subsection (a) of this Section.".
