1    AN ACT concerning safety.

 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly: 



 
4    Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended  by 
5adding Section 7.6 as follows:
 
6    (415 ILCS 5/7.6 new)
7    Sec. 7.6. Electronic posting of permit information. 
8Beginning January 1, 2014, the Agency shall maintain the 
9following information on its website:
10        (1) a description of each type of permit it issues and 
11    the persons subject to each type of permit;
12        (2) a description of the process for obtaining each 
13    type of permit, including but not limited to any statutory 
14    or regulatory deadlines and whether public notices or 
15    hearings are required prior to permit issuance; and
16        (3) no later than February 1 of each year, a report 
17    that contains the following information for the previous 
18    calendar year, with respect to each type of permit, based 
19    on information available to the Agency in a format the 
20    Agency can compile and publish electronically: 
21            (A) the number of permit applications received by 
22        the Agency;
23            (B) the number of permits issued by the Agency; and

1            (C) the average number of days from the date the 
2        Agency receives all information necessary for the 
3        issuance of a permit until the date the Agency issues 
4        the permit.
