Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that medical appliances purchased for use by a person aged 65 or older are exempt from taxation under the Acts. Provides that the Acts' automatic sunset provisions do not apply to that exemption.
