SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Marylin S. Zupec of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on August 23, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marylin Zupec was born on October 31, 1935, in 
6Waukegan; she married Frank Zupec on November 29, 1958, at the 
7Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Marylin Zupec was a member of St. Dismas Church; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Marylin Zupec enjoyed spending time with her "card 
11club" of friends from high school, her Morning Glories bowling 
12group at Bertrands', and her "breakfast club", a group of 
13ladies she had met while working at Abbott Laboratories; she 
14also enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to Curves, and spending 
15time with her grandchildren; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Marylin Zupec was preceded in death by her 
17husband, Frank; her brothers, Rolland, Harley, and Harold; her 
18sisters, Ellen Mae and Virginia; and her parents, Chester and 
19Elsie Jeffson; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Marylin Zupec is survived by her children, Michael

1(Cinda) Zupec, Jill (Kurt) Johnson, and Teresa Zupec; her 
2grandchildren, Nick, Emma, and Mia Zupec and Ben, Rob, and Matt 
3Alderin; and her sister, Hazel (Lloyd) Lewis; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6her family and friends, the passing of Marylin S. Zupec; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Marylin Zupec as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
