SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Paul Michael Bowers of Murfreesboro, 
4Tennessee, formerly of Bloomington, who passed away on March 6, 
52012; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, He was born April 20, 1968, in Bloomington, the 
7son of James and JoAnn Ruffing Bowers; he married Tamara J. 
8Hazelton on June 24, 2000, in Kirkwood, Missouri; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Bloomington High School and 
10Illinois State University; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, He was an avid sports fan, especially of the 
12Minnesota Vikings; he enjoyed just hanging out with family and 
13friends; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and 
15friend; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Paul Bowers is survived by his wife, Tamara; his 
17daughters, Kyleigh, Ava, and Isabel Bowers; his parents, Jim 
18and JoAnn Bowers; his brothers, Jim Bowers Jr., Jeff 
19(Stephanie) Bowers, and Kurt (Stephanie) Bowers; his 
20mother-in-law, Jane Barnett; and numerous nieces and nephews;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4his family and friends, the passing of Paul Bowers; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Paul Bowers as a symbol of our 
8sincere sympathy.
