| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Marlies Perthel of Indian Head Park; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Marlies Perthel was a former executive secretary |
| 5 | | for Spiegel and Company; she was a former Assistant Clerk for |
| 6 | | the Village of Indian Head Park; she served with the Village of |
| 7 | | LaGrange as Secretary of the Building and Planning Department; |
| 8 | | she subsequently served as Building Commissioner and Village |
| 9 | | Manager of LaGrange for over 12 years; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Marlies Perthel was responsible for the creation |
| 11 | | of the Village Triangle, the parking deck, and the general |
| 12 | | beautification of LaGrange; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Marlies Perthel was the beloved daughter of Mina |
| 14 | | Meyers and the late Fritz Hutt; loving wife of Werner; devoted |
| 15 | | mother of Christopher (Jennifer) and Lisa (Edgar) Herrera; dear |
| 16 | | grandmother of Ethan and Sophie Herrera; fond aunt of many; |
| 17 | | therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 20 | | her family and friends, the passing of Marlies Perthel; and be |
| 21 | | it further
