| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born on June 23, 1963; he was baptized at |
| 6 | | St. Mels Catholic Church; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, He attended Providence St. Mel in Chicago, |
| 8 | | Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills, Bishop College in |
| 9 | | Dallas, Texas, and Prairie State Jr. College in Chicago |
| 10 | | Heights; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, He was a gifted artist and actor; he did |
| 12 | | voice-overs, videos, commercials, television, and movie roles; |
| 13 | | he appeared in the movies Soul Food, Barbershop and Barbershop |
| 14 | | II, The Fugitive, Misled, and Let's Go to Prison; he also |
| 15 | | starred in the television series Prison Break; and

| 16 | | WHEREAS, He was also a talented craftsmen and salesman; he |
| 17 | | made one-of-a-kind jewelry designs and saw the beauty in |
| 18 | | everything; and

| 19 | | WHEREAS, Theron Lykes leaves no one to mourn, but everyone |
