HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
Roland 
4David Wells; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Roland Wells was born on November 28, 1959, in 
6Chicago; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Roland Wells attended Corpus Christi and McCosh 
8Grammar Schools and Simeon High School; after graduation, he 
9entered the United States Army; while in the Army, he served in 
10Germany as a paratrooper; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, After his stint in the Army, Roland Wells returned 
12home to Chicago and decided to enter the child care industry; 
13he worked at numerous child care centers throughout the years; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, In 1998, Roland Wells moved to California, where 
16he remained until 2009; while there, he enjoyed swimming, 
17fishing, and camping; after returning to Chicago, he served as 
18a volunteer in a campaign office; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Roland Wells was lovingly called David by his 
20family and friends and Roland or Mr. Wells by the staff at

1Jesse Brown Hospital; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
5Roland David Wells; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Roland Wells as an expression of our 
8sympathy.
