| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Hospital Licensing Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 10.3 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (210 ILCS 85/10.3) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 151.3)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 10.3.
No hospital shall allow any person to take part |
| 8 | | as a
student in a clinical training program of that
that |
| 9 | | hospital which is designed,
in whole or in part, to fulfill the |
| 10 | | requirements for licensure as a
physician unless that person is |
| 11 | | currently enrolled as a student in a
curriculum of a medical or |
| 12 | | osteopathic college or school which has been
approved as being |
| 13 | | reputable and in good standing by the Department of
|
| 14 | | Professional Regulation or is enrolled in a curriculum of a |
| 15 | | professional
school, college or institution teaching the |
| 16 | | treatment of human ailments
without drugs or medicines and |
| 17 | | without operative surgery which has been
approved as being |
| 18 | | reputable and in good standing by the Department of
|
| 19 | | Professional Regulation. |
