| 1 | | AN ACT concerning public transportation.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
| 5 | | Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 | | amended by adding Section 2310-55.5 as follows:
|
| 7 | | (20 ILCS 2310/2310-55.5 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2310-55.5. Free and reduced fare services. The |
| 9 | | Regional Transportation Authority shall monthly provide the |
| 10 | | Department with a list of riders that receive free or reduced |
| 11 | | fares under the Regional Transportation Authority Act. The list |
| 12 | | shall include an individual's name, address, and date of birth. |
| 13 | | The Department shall, within 2 weeks after receipt of the list, |
| 14 | | report back to the Regional Transportation Authority any |
| 15 | | discrepancies that indicate that a rider receiving free or |
| 16 | | reduced fare services is deceased.

| 18 | | amended by adding Section 3.11 as follows:
