| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 5-6 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (305 ILCS 5/5-6) (from Ch. 23, par. 5-6)

| 7 | | Sec. 5-6. Obligations incurred prior to death of a |
| 8 | | recipient. Obligations incurred but not paid for at the

for services authorized under |
| 10 | | Section 5-5, including medical and other
care in group care |
| 11 | | facilities as defined in the Nursing Home Care
Act or the MR/DD |
| 12 | | Community Care Act, or in like facilities
not required to be |
| 13 | | licensed under that Act, may be paid, subject to the
