<reference>20 ILCS 5/5-222</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of State Government Law of the Civil Administrative Code. Provides that, on the effective date of the amendatory Act, the office of Director of the Illinois Power Agency shall be considered vacant. Provides that, on and after the effective date of the amendatory Act, the Director of the Illinois Power Agency shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
