<reference>60 ILCS 1/30-110</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Township Code. Provides that the electors of a township may prohibit the running at large of dogs and cats. Further provides that the electors may also authorize the requirement that dogs and cats be registered with the township and the imposition of a reasonable fee for the registration. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 2</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Township Code. Provides that the electors of a township may prohibit the running at large of dogs and cats, except for feral cats. Further provides that in a county that does not license or register cats and dogs, the electors may authorize the requirement that dogs and cats be registered with the township and the imposition of a reasonable fee for the registration. Provides that the registration requirement does not apply to a feral cat or a feral cat caretaker who participates in trap, spay and neuter, or return and release programs. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
