Provides that no person may be appointed to a board, commission, authority, or task force on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act if, on the date of his or her appointment, he or she has been adjudicated in arrears in court ordered child support or maintenance, or a combination of child support and maintenance, in an amount equal to or greater than $10,000 and has been found in contempt by the court for failure to pay that support or maintenance. Amends the Election Code. Provides that statements of candidacy must include a statement that the candidate is not delinquent in the payment of court ordered child support or maintenance, or a combination of child support and maintenance, in an amount equal to or greater than $10,000. Provides that each electoral board designated for the purpose of hearing and passing upon objector's petitions shall independently verify that no candidate under its jurisdiction is delinquent in the payment of court ordered child support or maintenance, or a combination of child support and maintenance, in an amount equal to or greater than $10,000.
