<reference>65 ILCS 5/11-124-5</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that if a water system owned by a public utility is to be acquired by a majority of the affected municipalities by eminent domain, then there must be an intergovernmental agreement in existence between the acquiring municipalities providing for the acquisition. Effective July 1, 2011.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Further amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that any water system acquired by a municipality or municipalities shall have any work on the system performed by employees who are members of a collective bargaining unit.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
