<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>35 ILCS 200/15-167</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Property Tax Code. With respect to the returning veterans' homestead exemption, provides that, in addition to the $5,000 reduction, beginning in taxable year 2011, for the second and each subsequent taxable year that the veteran returns from active duty in an armed conflict involving the armed forces of the United States, he or she shall be entitled to an additional reduction of $2,500, which shall be cumulative for each year of return.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
