SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Eric Edward Fatla of Frankfort, who 
4passed away on December 27, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Eric was a graduate of Lincoln-Way East High 
6School in 2003, where he played football; he was a 2007 
7graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and he was a current 
8law student at George Washington University in Washington, 
9D.C.; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, He was a fan of the Chicago White Sox and the 
11Chicago Bears; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, He worked as a staffer for former United States 
13Representative Jerry Weller and once made a trip to Honduras to 
14serve as an election monitor; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Eric Fatla was the loving son of Edward and Marcia 
16(Husnik) Fatla; the cherished younger brother of Melissa; the 
17grandson of Casmir and the late Rose (Scalise) Fatla; the 
18grandson of the late Edwin and Aurelia (Matys) Husnik; the 
19nephew of Gregory and Christine (Husnik) Murray; the nephew of 
20John and Linda (Fatla) Fischer; the nephew of Lyle and Beth 
21(Husnik) Dunahoo; and a cousin to the late Jill, Michael,

1Stephanie and Ethan Fischer and Jessica, Matthew, and Stephen 
2Dunahoo; Eric is also survived by numerous great aunts, great 
3uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6his family and friends, the passing of Eric Fatla; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Eric Fatla as a symbol of our 
10sincere sympathy.
