| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Joyce J. Webber of Alton, who passed away |
| 4 | | on December 5, 2010; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born December 3, 1928, in Alton, the |
| 6 | | daughter of William Chester and Lottie Bell (Joyner) Tidwell; |
| 7 | | she married John W. "Jack" Webber at Cherry Street Baptist |
| 8 | | Church in Alton on April 6, 1957; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, She received an associate of art degree from Lewis |
| 10 | | and Clark Community College in 1985; she was a lover of music |
| 11 | | and art and played a mean jazz piano for many years with the |
| 12 | | Lewis and Clark College Jazz Band; she was also a lover of |
| 13 | | bargain shopping; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; |
| 15 | | her parents; and her nephew, Mark Andrews; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Webber is survived by her daughter, Julie |
| 17 | | Webber; her son and daughter-in-law, William "Bubba" and Donna |
| 18 | | Webber; her grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie and Jennifer |
| 19 | | Crutchley, Jason and Christina Crutchley, and Anna Darr; her |
| 20 | | great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kara Crutchley and Nathan |
| 21 | | Crutchley; her sisters, Ruth Leamon-DaGue and Ann Nietzke; her |
