SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of Barbara C. "Barb" McCarthy of Lockport, 
4who passed away on June 7, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Barbara McCarthy was born in Joliet; she was a 
6lifelong resident of Lockport; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Barbara McCarthy was a retired teacher, having 
8served at Kelvin Grove, Walsh, and Ludwig Schools; she also 
9taught swimming at the Lockport Township Park District for many 
10years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Barbara McCarthy was a member of Women of the 
12Moose, Lockport Lodge #1557; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Barbara McCarthy was preceded in death by her 
14parents, Robert and Lillian (Johnson) Cronholm, and her 
15brother, Russell Cronholm; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Barbara McCarthy is survived by her one and only 
17boyfriend and husband, Jack; her daughters, Pam (Mark) 
18Frontera, Sarah (Jeff) Mormann, and Jackie (Mohamed Belkhayat) 
19McCarthy; her grandchildren, Anthony and Nick Frontera, Jason, 
20Becky, and Meghan Mormann, and Noah, Nora, Zane, and Zak

1Belkhayat; her brother, Dick (Barb) Cronholm; her 
2sisters-in-law, Delores Cronholm and Noreen Piazza; her 
3lifelong friends and club members, the "Domino Queens"; and her 
4many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7her family and friends, the passing of Barbara C. "Barb" 
8McCarthy; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Barbara McCarthy as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
