| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Ruth Kramer of Baltimore, Maryland, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on April 18, 2010; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Ruth Kramer (nee Berlin) was the beloved wife of |
| 6 |
| the late Dr. Donald Kramer; the devoted mother of Lois Kramer |
| 7 |
| Hodes, Joanne Kramer Glasser, Dr. Andrew Kramer, and Howard |
| 8 |
| Kramer; the adored mother-in-law of Judy Kramer, Roz Kramer, |
| 9 |
| and the late Dr. Cary M. Glasser; the loving sister of Jerome |
| 10 |
| Berlin, Marilyn Aaron, and the late Samuel Berlin and Bernice |
| 11 |
| Siegel; the dear grandmother of Seth and Mary Ann Hodes, Jared |
| 12 |
| Glasser, Jacqueline Glasser, Justin Kramer, Stacy Kramer, and |
| 13 |
| Scott Kramer; and the adoring great grandmother of Owen and |
| 14 |
| Conor Hodes; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL |
| 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 17 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Ruth Kramer; and be it |
| 18 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 |
| presented to the family of Ruth Kramer as a symbol of our |
| 21 |
| sincere sympathy.
