| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Joan Bickham of Waukegan, who passed away |
| 4 |
| on October 12, 2009; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Joan Bickham was born on June 27, 1929, in |
| 6 |
| Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident of Waukegan; she |
| 7 |
| married John Richard Bickham on February 18, 1950; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Joan Bickham enjoyed her many photos and |
| 9 |
| collectables and loved to read; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Joan Bickham was preceded in death by her beloved |
| 11 |
| husband, Rich; her parents, John and Franc (nee Barron) Darrow; |
| 12 |
| and her sisters, Mildred Darrow, Margaret McDermott, and Laurie |
| 13 |
| McGuire; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Joan Bickham is survived by her children, Laurie |
| 15 |
| (Paul) Hendley, Sue Sedar, Scott (Patty) Bickham, and Joan |
| 16 |
| (Bill) Flament; her grandchildren, Kristen (Tim Cramer) |
| 17 |
| Lockwood, Chris and Drew Sedar, Katie, Matt, and Molly Bickham, |
| 18 |
| Amber (Don Morin) Flament, and Ashley and Joshua Flament; |
| 19 |
