SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Ozzie Mazzetta of Highwood, who passed 
4
away on June 6, 2009; and
  
 
5
    WHEREAS, Ozzie Mazzetta retired from Metropolitan Life 
6
after 35 years of dedicated service; he was also the owner of 
7
Billie's Women's Apparel in Highwood; and
  
 
8
    WHEREAS, Ozzie Mazzetta was the founder and Board Chairman 
9
of the Highwood Small Fry Basketball organization for 40 years; 
10
and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, Ozzie Mazzetta was preceded in death by his 
12
parents, Pete and Marsillia Mazzetta, and his brothers, Tom and 
13
Petey; and
  
 
14
    WHEREAS, Ozzie Mazzetta was the beloved husband of the late 
15
Gloria (nee Masini); the loving father of Tom (Cindy), Carole, 
16
and Marty; and the cherished grandfather of Brandon and Matt 
17
Mixter and Jordan and Zachary Mazzetta; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
19
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
20
his family and friends, the passing of Ozzie Mazzetta; and be
