SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3
learn of the death of Florence Mae Zimmerman of Hanna City, who 
4
passed away on September 11, 2009; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, She was born on December 11, 1912 to Louis and 
6
Anna (Mohn) White; she married Walter William Zimmerman on 
7
November 3, 1935 in Peoria; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, She was a homemaker and had worked at Chic 
9
Manufacturing Company in Peoria in the past; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, She enjoyed bird watching and gardening; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; 
12
her parents; her son, Dr. Michael Zimmerman; her sisters; and 
13
her brother; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, She is survived by her sons, David Zimmerman and 
15
James (Ellen) Zimmerman; her daughter, Janet Siemens; her ten 
16
grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren; therefore, be 
17
it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
19
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

her family and friends, the passing of Florence Mae Zimmerman;

and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
