SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Phyllis Manola of Palatine, who passed 
4
away on March 18, 2009; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola was born on March 28, 1922 in 
6
Chicago; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola was the beloved wife of the late 
8
Vito Manola Sr.; the loving mother of Vito Jr. (Gina) Manola 
9
and Mary Lou Manola; the cherished grandmother of Ross Caruso 
10
and Anthony (Jackie), Dominic, Vito, and Angelina Manola; the 
11
great-grandmother of Grace Michele Manola; and the fond aunt of 
12
many nieces and nephews; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Phyllis Manola's love of life and ability to live 
14
it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, 
15
and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in 
16
ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

 
17
    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
18
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
19
her family and friends, the passing of Phyllis Manola; and be 
20
it further
