    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3524 on page 1, by

replacing lines 21 through 23 with the following:

"training, education, and program coordination, with  minimum

and maximum allocations for infrastructure and

non-infrastructure projects in accordance with the federal 
7
Safe Routes to School program."; and

on page 2, line 23, by replacing "construction" with 
9
"construction"; and

on page 2, line 26, by replacing "the Department of State 
11
Police and" with "the Department of State Police and"; and
 
12
on page 3, by replacing lines 2 through 3 with the following:

"Routes to School proposal is consistent with local school 
14
traffic needs a statewide  pedestrian safety statistical 
15
analysis."; and
